Our office at 1409 E. New York Avenue in DeLand is open from 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday and Sunday from 1pm-4pm. I consider myself a Native Floridian, even though I'm a 'Navy Brat' and was born in Napoli, Italia ~ that's right Naples, Italy.  They even sent me Citizenship papers when I turned 18, should've done it!  With both of my parents being salty dogs, I got to live and travel in alot of different places when I was a kid.    But, FLORIDA is my home and the only state I have lived and where I have done my growing up.  We have lived in the suburbs of Orlando - when it was alot smaller!!, Jacksonville or Switzerland, in what used to be a little tiny town on the banks of the St Johns River, and now the quaint college town of DeLand.

I really enjoy Florida, maybe because it's all I have known (sorta)...but, I love the hot humid summers, and the afternoon thunder storms that are just now seeming to be a norm again after what feels like a decade of drought conditions.  There is always something to do outside, whether you like to: hike and hunt for treasures, canoe the rivers and local runs, explore the wildlife refugees, picnic at the beach, fish the saltwater of Mosquito Lagoon and the great Haulover Canal (i bet you don't know how it got it's name!), or my personal favorite, swim the crystal blue waters of the Silver Glenn.
